August 22 - August 26
Students will also think like a computer programmer by developing animations and games. Students will learn to design their own game using Scratch. They will use block codes to create their very own programmed animation. By using household items, students will be able to create a physical controller for their animation and game. Through application of circuitry and game design, students discover new ways to interact with technology, all while creating unique designs in a fun collaborative environment. Students will also become comic book authors as they navigate the design process. They will focus on how to storyboard, write, and add images to create a digital work.
