Introduce your child to the world of building and programming basic robots using LEGO® MINDSTORMS® Education EV3 sets. Through this program, participants will use mathematical concepts and engineering principles to brainstorm, plan, test, and modify sequences of instructions to accomplish a specific task. They will learn to build and program a battle bot. For the tournament-style battle, teams will battle each other in robot sumo match. Children do not get to take home any LEGO® projects. No computer or robotics experience required to join! Our young scientists will also explore various forms of reactions. Each student will work hands-on testing theories by combining materials and observing the reactions. They will explore different forms of chemicals and gain new insights into different compounds. Students will explore new scientific terms, expand their vocabulary and knowledge of the world around them.
