4/19 Scratch Studio with Makey Makey: Sound and Music
Full day hours: 8am - 6pm
Part day hours: 8am - 3pm
Half day hours: 8am - 1pm, 1pm - 6pm
Learn about the different families of musical instruments. Topics involve brass, percussion, strings, and woodwinds instruments to explore how different sounds are created. By using household items, students will be able to create instrumental sounds. Students will create their own instrument using consumable materials. Through application of circuitry, acoustical engineering and game design, students discover new ways to interact with technology, all while creating unique designs in a fun collaborative environment. Students will engineer their own instrument using a circuit board and electrical conductive materials.
