Introduce your child to the world of building and programming basic robots using LEGO® MINDSTORMS® Education EV3 sets. Through this program, participants will use mathematical concepts and engineering principles to brainstorm, plan, test, and modify sequences of instructions to accomplish a specific task. They will learn to build and program a battle bot. For the tournament-style battle, teams will battle each other in robot sumo match. Children do not get to take home any LEGO® projects. No computer or robotics experience required to join! We will also work on creating digital pixelated images, mastering the 8-bit art of the 80's. By using this style of art, we will also explore in creating animated GIFs.
