8/24 - 8/28 Chess/Battle Bots
August 24 - August 28
Introduce your child to the world of building and programming basic robots using LEGO® MINDSTORMS® Education EV3 sets. Through this program, participants will use mathematical concepts and engineering principles to brainstorm, plan, test, and modify sequences of instructions to accomplish a specific task. They will learn to build and program a battle bot. For the tournament-style battle, teams will battle each other in robot sumo match. Children do not get to take home any LEGO® projects. No computer or robotics experience required to join! Students will also learn to play Chess in a non-competitive setting and if you know how to play Chess already then join us for friendly practice games.
